Monika Blichar’s vision of an environment where creative entrepreneurs and artists from around the globe could showcase and sell their work while engaging with the community is really coming full force with her annual production of Art World Expo TM. Originally from Poland, Monika has an evident and immense passion for all things arts and culture. Her love for working with the community in various arenas has allowed her to complete a B.A. in English and French, teach Kindergarten through grade 12 in both Public and Private Schools in B.C., work as an Artistic and Event Producer and become CEO and Founder of MAB Ventures Inc., an Arts & Entertainment Agency. In 2014 alone, she produced and led more than 50 events and specialty workshops related to arts, education and business via her businesses including MAB Art Studio & Boutique Gallery, THE FAB Art Program, Diamond Dolls Women’s Networking Group and Social Savvy Gals.

Sandhya Prasad is very passionate about bringing communities together. She works at Simon Fraser University – Meeting, Event and Conference Services as Office Administrator. She has over 30 years of Sales & Marketing experience and 7 years of Event Planning. Her knowledge and experience from volunteering with various organizations has given her the ability to grow and learn. She has started a team called “Friends Forever” with CIBC Run for the Cure supporting Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation back in 2009. In March of last year, she created a Facebook page “Buzz AroundVanCity” Passion for people and communities that drives her to thrive to make a difference – one day at a time. She is a “social butterfly” and enjoys every second of her life. She enjoys travelling, cooking and socializing/entertaining. “Do it yourself or not at all.” Sandhya has been volunteering for Art World Expo for the last four years and has helped with volunteer recruitment and management, vendor relations and social media marketing throughout her time with us. We are thankful for her expertise and contribution!
