Have You ever heard of the term ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’ the dream of Ludwig van Beethoven? Bringing art together into one experience and thus improving the different forms. Franck Marco takes this to a whole new level. He combines two of his passions, painting and playing the drums. The results are amazing and his art that is always evolving, makes Your heart skip a beat.
Franck Marco has found a way to combine these two forms of art in an inspirational subtle and improvised dialogue. A unique idea always evolving. He uses brush-sticks and other tools found or invented. So who is Franck Marco, and where does he get his inspiration? Franck Marco has been active on the music scene from the age of 6 onwards. He knows what it takes and has been playing on all major scenes and festivals. His paintings are breathtaking as You can see here.
Bringing a unique performance. He combines the two forms of expession in a singular performance for a colorful silence, a percussive chaos and a reflected accidental destiny.

Regina Schneider and her paintings, multi-colored and charming, paid tribute to one of the pioneers of Wynwood, Brazilian Michael Krymchantowski who arrived in the neighborhood when no one knew the place. A kind of pioneer of Wynwood. As she has a strong relationship with Brazil, she decided to give a gift to Michael Krymchantowski and his fiancée, Michelle Lex, painting on a beautiful piece of art as a tribute.
Regina Schneider was born in 1974 in Alsace, France, a region close to Switzerland and Germany. In her very early adolescence she began to draw in pencil the faces of women while surrounding herself with music. Writing poems and reading are some of her favorite hobbies.
This year has been an incredible one with so many new adventures into the Art World! Thank you all for your wonderful support, enthusiasm and of course, creativity! In 2015, we saw an amazing amount of expansion and growth.
Our first expansion was starting a new event in Toronto this year. It was truly an amazing event especially since we met a tremendous amount of aritsts, sponsors and community players. The calibre of artists in Toronto is wonderful to see and we are grateful for all the artists who participated. We are also looking forward to hosting the 2nd annual Art World Expo in Toronto and are inviting artists, galleries, and organizations to participate! If you are interested, or you know of an artist or group who would be, be sure to share our website!
Our first Painting Dreams International Art Tour to south west France with a group of artists to the Dordogne area. What a wonderful opportunity to work with artists as well as experience French culutre, history and arts. The tour was not only incredible, but a very rewarding experience for Art World Expo as we made some amazing connections that will surely last a life time. Our second tour is scheduled for July-August 2016 and we are travelling to both France and Poland in conjunction with the European Capital of Culture in Wroclaw, Poland. If you are interested in a 12 day tour to either France or Poland, be sure to visit Painting Dreams Art Tours Info. We would love to see you participate in this international trip this year!
A big huge thank you to all of our artists, sponsors, affiliates and volunteers for making 2015 one of the most memorable years to date! We look forward to 2016 and wish you all an abundant, creative and inspiring year ahead!

Some of you know that our owner and founder of MAB Ventures Inc., Monika Blichar, is taking a tour to France this summer alongside 9 creatives! As part of her fundraising and commitment to supporting kids summer art camp at our studio while she is away, she is currently painting 40 pieces to support the cause! A big thank you to everyone who has supported the initiative by purchasing one of these pieces!
One of our kids class participants was inspired and painted her own version of the Talon Haut. Thank you to Shoe Straponz for commissioning this painting. www.shoestraponz.com
40 Painting Challenge-Each Piece is $100!
Each sale of this 40 painting series will help take a group of artists to France for a professional international painting trip for two weeks. Faciliated by our studio and gallery; MAB Art Studio & Boutique Gallery, Monika will be teaching in France, but the studio in North Vancouver will remain open during this first international painting trip we are coordinating along with our guide Lynda Wrigley. By purchasing one of these original paintings, you are directly helping our studio and stable of artists gain international exposure and experience as well as facilitate cultural exchanges in the arts. Our studio will continue to facilitate classes and offer our third year of summer art camps for over 130 children. Our goal is to faciliate these trips year after year and with your help in any way possible, we can help dozens of artists exhibit their work and participate in professional development on the international stage.
Not in the market for a new painting? Art Cards by Monika are also available. Each is $4 and all proceeds support the studio while the tour is happening this year. Everyone needs a greeting card and these are stunning!

The Dream was to travel to another country and take some time to create. Some real uninterrupted painting time in our corner of the world was definately needed-especially since most of the year, we are busy coordinating our shows and running our studio.
Last summer, The Dream came to life when a group of our studio goers got to talking about getting away on a tour to France. Lynda Wigley, a well versed lawyer and profound traveller, started the conversation after bringing in photographs of sunflowers to paint. Most of our students bring in photos, but Lynda had a lot of these wonderful photos and with each class, she started to open up more and more about her experience in Southwest France, Dordogne to be precise. Each week, we noticed that the enthusiasm about a painting retreat in France was gaining more interest. Why not try to take a tour in 2015 we all thought? With that, the idea was born and we managed to fill 10 spots (we have one more seat left!) and are taking off on July 11-25, 2015.
Over the last year, we have excitedly signed up 8 fabulous participants to join us on this trip. In the next few posts, you’ll have a chance to meet each artist or gallery owner and as we move towards our departure, you’ll also get some of our updates about our trip and how even from Vancouver or Canada, you can get involved in being a part of this wonderful adventure!
We have been fundraising for the group and individually, each artist and gallery has been working hard to ensure that the trip is amazing! Our main goal is to be sure that MAB Art Studio & Boutique Gallery has enough funds to sustain itself during the month our owner Monika Blichar is away as we have 150+ children coming in for our annual art camp. Monika has been painting a series of 40 paintings each for $100 to support the studio. Thank you to all of you who have bought one of the originals and those of you who even bought some of the cards that she’s made out of the paintings. Currently, the pieces that are available are below. If you are interested, please send us an email at artists@theartworldexpo.com and we’ll make sure you get your piece!
